So far so good: how was your first day of EIP? Positive and negative impacts?
When I was little I was always dreaming about being able to travel, to speak a different language, to have a horse, etc. Now my dreams are coming true! Well, not the horse part, I still don't have a horse, but thanks to the English Immersion Program I am having opportunities that I couldn't even think about. It is thrilling!!!
We are just at the second day of the Program but I have a lot to say about how it went by now, so let's start!
I came to Brasilia all the way from Jaraguá do Sul, Santa Catarina by plane. I took the plane in Joinville, a city next to mine. It's worth saying that we - me, my mom and my boyfriend - had some trouble in the way to the airport, we got lost two times and I was freaking out! Fortunately I got there in time.
It was my first time inside an airplane so I was kinda lost - I guess the flight attendants knew it because I pushed the bottom to call them two times by accident - and scared - I cried a few times, but that's a secret.
When I got here after my great trip, João Fonseca was waiting for me at the airport with a bag of snacks, which was very kind. I think I am not able to write down my feelings at that moment, but I was certainly very thrilled, happy and scared.
João took me and some other students to the CTJ where we were received with a lot of fuss since everybody was already there. When I sat down, they called my name to join group A for our visit to Pontão, which is a breath taking place, where we walked, talked and took very beautiful photos. It was there where I realized how our group was big and how this experience is going to be life changing.

After Poentão we went to a restaurant named Xique Xique and I have to say: the food was great and if I start eating every day like I did that night, I am going to be veeeeery fat.
We got to the hotel at about 9pm and stayed at the lobby until all the warnings were given and the check-ins made. I got to my room at almost 22pm, took a wonderful bath and called my mom to tell her news, she was very happy. When I hang up the phone I thanked all the gods for the opportunity that I am having and fell asleep.
My first day at the EIP was great, how was yours?
