First drop

I started studying in a very good high school in 2014. There, I learned about this program. I tried to be a youth ambassador, but I wasn't selected. I was very upset with it. Because, you know, we are very young, and when we really want something, it's difficult to accept the fact that you didn't get it. So, the school where I did the test, told me about the EIP program. I was very happy with it, I saw that the embassy doesn't see only the winners but they know that there are talented people that don't get in. They weren't selected not because the program is mean or that they are bad, but because there aren't enough spots. I think, that EIP was created because of it, to show that all the finalists are winners. And, what can I say about it? I am loving this experience, I'm meeting people from all of the states. I'm learning more about American culture, and mainly, I'm changing myself for better. Yesterday, a teacher told me that she believes in all of us, because if we are here, we can be anywhere and if she said that, I know, I really can. It's not only because someone said it, it's because they see that, the embassy sees that. I think that it's because of it that everyone says that EIP is unforgettable and the best experience of our lives.
