Countryside Girl

I could start this post on so many ways but I decided to tell you a little story first: Once upon a time a girl from a small city was surfing on Internet when WOW, she found something about a program of the American Embassy in Brazil,she got so happy! That program was everything she has ever dreamed about. In some days she was already in groups on social medias with other people who were looking for the same thing and then she started her application. In that process she had so many experiences, she went to a new city to take a test and also meet some of the best friends she has ever meet. Some weeks later they had the result and well.. She wasn't one of the young people going to the United States, BUT she found out she was going to the capital to another program: The English Immersion Program.

It took months and months of excitement, signatures , documents, plans and specially hopes! She had spend so many hours imagining how it would be, what would happen, how other participants were like. And then finally the day arrived!

For the first time she got into a bus and traveled to a big city completely on her own, then an airport and for the first time she got into a plane. Looking to all the small buildings down there , from up there she started thinking about everything and realized that she was good enough because for the first time she had done something that she completely deserved, no one went there to take that test, it was her! No one did anything, it was all about her and her knowledge and her wish to fight for her dreams. So she promised to herself that she would never give up of anything, specially when some other people say she can't .

Arriving to  Brasilia's airport she meet those people who were already her best friends and that was like the perfect day, but she knows there is so much more coming.

She had so many "first times" in a few days than in her entire life: The first plane, the first cheese cake, first time watching the sunset by a lake with her new best friends,bowling and so many other things..

She is so proud of herself right now, so happy for this hole situation! 

Now she is ready to go back home, in that small city and fight for her dreams because now she knows that the world waits for her and she is gonna do this, till that day she is going to enjoy every experience and learn as much as she can. She knows that if it's supposed to happen it doesn't matter how long it takes or where , is gonna happen!

Now she finally found herself!
