Sometimes life gives us indispensable opportunities that are capable of changing our lives. This time, we've received one straight from the Embassy of the U.S.
The English Immersion Program is one of those things capable of changing lives and it has been changing mine. Being close to a so advanced country gives us hope. We see the citizens that are all so patriotic and so full of devotion for their country and full of hope even when everything goes wrong, it makes us see our own country with other eyes. See how people fought and are fighting for change gives us inspiration to do exactly the same.
And for me, how it has changed me in particular?! I'd like to say that it has changed especially my perspectives. I've been on my own, learning that reality is a thing in movement and that it is us who give it movement. I've been learning how a group of people can turn into one when they fight together. And that dreams can always be possible. I've been very inspired to try and to start the difference. Because people sometimes get too comfortable and they wait for others to start a change, but the change can start by each one of us. We are the difference.
When I come back home, I'll be a different person. With open mind and eyes full of hope. And I'll stand up to make the change happen, not only for me, but for every living person. The reality is established by each one of us, the pen of our history is in our hands and I'll write mine with hands guided by hope and love.
