Chemistry is the begging of everything. All we have today is product of chemistry. In the beginning of the 1900s, the Chemistry world was dominated by men, women doesn't have much space, actually they didn't have any space at all. But Marie Curie, the first woman to work in Chemistry, began to search equality on science to women.
I always like the history of Marie Curie, the story of someone that was not pleased with the situation and tried with all her strength to change that, I think this was the beginning of the scientific fight for equality. If wasn't for her the world today would be different and we won't be able to enjoy all the amazing discoveries.
She inspired me to never give up, is because of that I like chemistry so much, I like to think in her and in others that have done so many thing to search equality in the old world, to make a better world today.
A good choice for inspiration, Voltaire participaion on chemistry is kinda important too ( thought it's funny )
